In an era of fake news and constant ‘nonsense’, total transparency has become somewhat of a myth, a standard that is often the goal but almost never fully realised. An exception to this, of course, lies in fashion: while many houses and companies aren’t transparent about their practices, there is no denying the fact that when the clothing that they produce is quite literally transparent (see: the Chanel cape or the Sportmax dress in this series), you can believe that what you’re seeing underneath is fact… or is it?
