BRAND PORTRAIT: DAS CAPE MÄDCHEN
The inspiration for DAS CAPE MÄDCHEN’s capsule collection, comprised of four capes, came from Greek mythology. The brand’s muses are goddesses protecting the arts representing attributes imbued in the label by founder Josephine Gaede: intelligence, beauty, and carefreeness.
Embodying strength, presence, and elegance, the new ready-to-wear capsule collection takes elements from capes of the past. The Berlin label brings these into the modern day, creating timeless pieces with new silhouettes, prints and cuts.
With prints reminiscent of poetic and dreamy green landscapes and mystical dark magic, the capes, in shades of mossy green and midnight blue, give the wearer a sense of ease, pure elegance, and modernity. Grounded with rosy and light blue tones, the result is a spellbinding sense of the organic. These garments are true fashion statements.
