Marketing and Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced sales/marketing manager with pre-existing ties within the international fashion circuit to grow brand collaborations and special projects.
– Maintaining and extending brand relationships for both Material Magazine as well as INDIE Magazine
– Setting and implementing sales goals, developing partnerships strategy
– Coordinating of branded features & events in close collaboration with editorial team
– Personal appointments with key industry marketing directors Europe-wide
– Handling multi-channel content and advertising collaborations with special attention to online and social media

Online Editor
Freelance contract / part-time to full-time
Location: Plastic Media Office Berlin
Language: English Native-speaking
Requirements: Extensive experience with copy writing, editing, online publishing and working with WordPress
– Leading editorial position overlooking online across all editorial fields from Fashion, Music, Arts to Culture and Politics
– Working with SEO and analytics tools, implementing, tracking and reporting on goals for reach growth
– Coordinating all online content with staff and freelance writers, developing content calendars
– Copy editing, publication of features in coordination with Junior Editor and editorial interns
– Close collaboration with social media team, overlooking cross-channel pushs and social performance
– Development of video formats, collaborative features and advertorials
– Conception of new content projects, pitching to possible collaborators
– Active part of the Berlin team, representing Material Magazine at press events, meeting with clients, etc.

Social Media Editor
Freelance contract, Part-time (2-3 days per week)
Working for both Material Magazine as well as INDIE Magazine
Location: Plastic Media Office Berlin
Requirements: Experience in social media content creation and editorial planning
Language: English Native-speaking or similar level
– Planning of content strategy and regular performance reportings
– Knowledge of analytic tools and programs, tracking and implementing KPIs to maximise audience growth and engagement
– Creative copy writing and editing
– Willing to communicate with team outside of office hours/on weekends
– Occasional on-location coverage of events and for branded projects in coordination with social media intern
– Working closely with the online and print teams to develop exclusive social content and formats

Editorial Intern
Location: Plastic Media Office Berlin
– Full-time, 3 months
– English Native-speaking or similar level
We are looking for enthusiastic, highly creative, reliable and flexible editorial interns with experience in editorial writing. The position will entail working for both Material Magazine as well as INDIE Magazine and gives insight into the production of print issues as well as the fast-paced cycle of online journalism.
Tasks include:
Daily administrative support to the team
Support for the fashion assistants and production team, coordinating call-ins, travel, etc
Research of editorial themes, news coverage, copy writing for online
Assisting with event production and on-site
