DIE WITH YOU: BEYONCE AND JAY-Z CELEBRATE THEIR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
It’s been almost a decade that one of the most celebrated couples has been married. Beyoncé and Jay-Z celebrate their love and commitment today for their ninth year anniversary and for the occasion, Beyoncé released a video and new studio version of Die with you that she originally released two years ago for their seventh year anniversary and a playlist with songs by different artists including Sade, James Blake and Lauryn Hill.
They married in April 2008 after starting dating back in 2003. Beyoncé met rapper Jay-Z when she was only 18. A few years later they were dating and releasing one of their biggest hits, Crazy in love. Beyoncé’s celebrated visual album Lemonade (2016) displayed their romance along with exclusive images of their wedding day.
In the Die with you video is playing the piano and singing the song to her husband. In between there is some personal footage of the power couple while smoking the cigar, drinking rosé on a boat and kissing hands or playing co-pilots on a private jet. Even though there has been rumours about infidelity and dramatic ups and downs as staged in Beyoncé’s Lemonade album, they made it through and are more than ever the center of all attention when there’s news.
In 2012 they welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy who instantly became a little star and appeared in several music videos of her mummy, Beyoncé. Earlier this year the singer dropped a bomb on her Instagram account with beautiful pictures of her wearing flowers crowns and veils, revealing her pregancy with twins.
