EYEWEAR LABEL ACE & TATE OPENS NEW CUBIST INSPIRED BERLIN STORE
Choosing the right pair of sunglasses can be a nightmare, and when you finally find one, you have to bear in mind that there is a real process to wear them. Don’t underestimate sunnies’ significance to elevate your outfit. Your next sunnies have to be cool and suit your face obviously, but they have to also encapsulate all of your summer memories. So if you are still looking for the perfect summery model and you are in Berlin right now, head to Ace & Tate‘s new pristine sunglasses temple.
The eyewear label Ace & Tate has opened its second Berlin flagship store just off Kurfürstendamm in the western district of Charlottenburg. But contrary to the area’s busy stores, Ace & Tate offers an experience like no other since it has created a peaceful museum-inspired space. The Dutch label collaborated with French graphic artist Guillaume Kashima to develop a cubist store by focusing on round and square shapes, including neon light installations that have become the brand’s signature detail.
At the same time, the brand has also unveiled its 2017 Autumn-Winter capsule collection both for women and men. Anchored in the nostalgia of thinking that summer is almost over, the collection holds onto summer and features sunnies with aviator and cat-eye frames, pastel colors, and a drop of 70s retro aesthetics. The campaign invites us to keep our summer sassiness for September and deny the whole concept of winter through a series of meme-inspired ads that “show no sign of leaving the beach”.
