NOBI TALAI SS18 BROUGHT PERSIAN INFLUENCES TO PARIS
With her name translating to “newness”, Nobieh Talai, founder and designer of Berlin-based brand Nobi Talai, seems to be almost predestined for working in the fashion industry – after all, what could be more integral to her profession than newness. As for her most recent offering of that innovation, the Teheran-born designer looked to her Persian roots, combining them with a distinct influence of her signature interest in architecture, especially the Bauhaus era and 1950’s Scandinavian design. From founding her label in 2015 to now showing at Paris Fashion Week, Nobieh has come quite the way – we visited her backstage at the just held Nobi Talai SS18 show.
